Tetris. Probably be directed by David Lynch, or something.
Parappa the Rappa: They'd stick a Wayan's kid in there to ruin it.
Pokémon: Oh, hang on, they did this, and it was crap.
The openning scenes shw a guy in a space ship, in contact with a parent ship of some kind. Something goes wrong, and we have a big budget crash landing on a strange planet.
The pilot can't get in touch with the mothership, and realises that he'll have to find the scattered pieces of his ship around the land.
He discovers strange creatures, and he leads them to victory over many evils in the planet, whilst he gains those much needed parts.
Finish with a huge battle scene, and fly off back home.
Maybe call it Planet of the Plants.

Mmm... I love this song. Great soundtrack.
Well, here's my two cent's worth: Pikmin.
In fact... every single RTS ever created.
but what would make a good film would be Starcraft!
Great topic by the way Meka. Some of the best are the shortest.
Err... Rollercoaster Tycoon. Great game, crap film.
And so obviously, Sim City. The game can get boring enough, imagine a film about making sure the water lines join when you can hardly ****ing see them.
Let me think:
Final Fantasy
Super Mario Bros
Tomb Raider
Doom
Duke Nukem 3D
Resident Evil
Street Fighter
Mortal Kombat
Yup, that just about covers it.
I would pay good money to see "Gunstar Heroes" the movie, mind.
Shawshank redemption.
