Just for the record I'd like to say I never did any spamming when I was a newbie...
I did, however, go and try to preach the good word in the X-Box forum. Very stupid mistake, take it from me.You'll never convert anyone, and you'll just annoy people. I'm just thankful I didn't launch an all out war against them. But then I was young and stupid.....

Well, now I know what it's like being an English teacher decyphering a 5 year-olds work!
Nah, only joking! We all have to start somewhere. The Newbie stage is just like a selection process. Newbies who have an attitude and don't respect their peers will get beaten down and give up. However, if you keep away from arguements, spell properly and are pretty knowledgable about games, you'll soon gain respect.
But I do agree there are a lot of stupid spamming Newbies out there at the moment.
