Hi i have a older playstation 2 model number 30004 and would like to swap for a SCPH 3000xR that's a 3000x or 3000R as i have a ps2 game development kit i imported, but i got the wrong one and the kit and my ps2 arnt compatable? anyone help???

True but still is a newer one much better?

Yeah he would lose some money, but no one is dumb enough to do a swap for a new PS2 for an old one. He could sell it with a few of the games that he never plays on.

Find a friend with the model PS2 u want. Explain problem. Trade, and maybe give him a game or something for hs effort.

Now... all you need to do is find a friend!

Well buy another PS2, and then sell the one you have now.

MMMMMMMM the only think i can think of is if the kit means a lot to you then sell your PS2 and buy a new one, otherwise get rid of the kit.

If i could change the dev kit i would, but when i ordered it they didnt tell me it was model specific and you cant get it for the 30004 model ps2.

Which leaves me kinda stuck.
