What is he, a PC? People don't 'crash' unless they fly American Airlines.

Halo!

You haven't even considered Halo as yet!!!
ahhh for the last time halo is not worth the huge price tag and large chunk of plastic that you have get with it, its just an ordinary first person shooter that is put together extreamly well apart from that its comming out on the pc, so who need the xbox for halo.

but the pc version is superior to the xbox version.
The X-box version is just a straight port from the PC version. The PC version will only be slightly better if you have a top of the range £2000 PC.
actually it is not a straight port, because it has more loading time (xbox has only 64mb compared to the pc 128mb standard), and the graphics have been cut down and the game has been made easier. plus no abilities to download patches addons etc.
I admit there are a couple of very good games, but not in the genres I tend to enjoy much.
Where I could buy an Xbox with Halo, as I'm pretty crap at FPS, and aren't a big fan of the genre, I'd get just as much fun from Perfect Dark Zero, whenever it arrives. Considering I've not completed the N64 original, I can wait!
If I bought an Xbox, I'd miss out on the best platform/adventure games, such as Mario Sunshine, and Luigi's Mansion.
The Xbox also has an insufficient quantity of games that would appeal to a younger audience. If I want to play games during the day, they need to be easy on the eye of pre-schoolers. My children love the look of many typical Nintendo games. Malibu just sat with me, pad in hand, whilst I played Majora's Mask for 30 minutes or so. I couldn't really let her sit and watch Halo, or Dead or Alive 3. or a start, she'd get bored.
Go on then Stryke, do your worst! ;-)
