Hiya there folks.
There ARE some new Resi games coming to PS2. I have heard this from a Capcom guy. Firstly, Resi and Dino Crisis are going to be appearing as lightgun games. Anyone who remembers the original Gun Survivor will probably choke up, but a new console must mean good thinks.
Also, Resident Evil 4 is sheduled for a PS2 release. I don't know when. The GC are getting revamped versions of the PSone games. Hopefully they won't get 4, but multi-formatting is a craze now.

about that news on Upwire, Capcom said that was blown compltetly out of proportion.
If the Dreamcast had been a bigger success then I'm sure code veronica would have been an exclusive for longer. But as it is, it came out on the PS2 when the dreamcast was practically dead.
As for Gamecube, them sort of statements are just made to boost publicity of the product. Sure, if Gamecube sales are poor then we will see it lose its exclusive Resi titles...but the Resi titles look set to sell bucket loads of Gamecubes and the aticipation for these games is immense, especially in Japan.
