Well, that's probably cos the LMA Manager 2003 you bought was from here, which is a PAL model, which can only be used with PlayStation 2s that are from Europe, having the same PAL model. Butt your son's PS2 is from the US, and that's a different version...er...what's the model called again, is it NCL or NCHL or something...I dunno.

Nway, the LMA Manager 2003 isn't the only game that won't work on your son's PS2, but also every game you buy in the UK. So you either need your PS2 to be chipped, or, you just have buy a new PS2 from here I guess.

I guess your sons PS2 is an NTSC model, so it will only play NTSC version games. American and Japanese games are NTSC so you'll have to get those types of games if you want the originals to work on your machine.

But, if you want to be a phoney like me then get your sons PS2 chipped. You will then be able to play games from all regions (PAL and NTSC blah blah) and you can also play dirty evil pirate games... but I do not condone that.

Hmm...

Might as well send the game back and order the US version. It's safer and cheaper than getting your PS2 chipped.

And that statement is based on your huge and in-depth knowledge of the PS2 chipping process, yes?

From about £40 up to around £120.

Depends on the chip and the person who installs it.
