thats what ive been saying - the realistic version is an improvement, makes a leap foward - the cel shaded, back wards, far backwards, less detail, less genius, more annoying characters and the video had some annoying sounds on top of the wonderful zelda theme tune...

Hey Dringo, where did you get Paper Mario from, and for how much???

I've been thinking....maybe Nintendo should release both versions of Zelda (if they are changing it), one cell-shading, and the other more realistic and 3-D.
Or they could release 2 discs with the game, one for each graphical appearence. That'd could make the game longer, like Resi Evil with a character on each disc.
Maybe the cell-shaded one would be a more cartoony adventure, and the other more like the N64 versions?

people may think that the only difference between this new version and the 64 will be improved models and improved textures...but then again maybe thats what we want.

im worried because when you saw zelda on the 64 the leap from the old 2d to this 3d was impressive to say the least. to explore the world of link in 3d was amazing (i love zoras domain my idea of heaven).
but when it comes out on the cube it will have to be incredibly detailed in order to up the stakes, and thats what i think myamoto was trying to do with the cell shading.
A new style for a new console and one that i think could have been equally graphically impressive.

You'd be surprised who I agree with occasionally. I actually have a screenshot of me agreeing with Grix and YH somewhere...

A new graphical style's always good, but for a flagship game a nice photo-realistic vibe is a good idea, and a cartoon Zelda (or anything) is really NOT what Ninty need right now. I say good on Miyamoto.
