Japan and all the other leading manufacturing companies better keep up the good work.
All we need is for a company to realise they can make a USB controller, and a programmer to put it in their games, and voilla! No multitap required.
We've already seen something similar to this with the Logitech USB wheel for GT3, and the G-Con II for time crisis II which is also USB. If the programmers had thought about it, they could have made it possible to have two wheels and two controllers thus making 4-player gaming without splashing out on a mulitap. The same for TCII.
It is possible without a multitap, just not yet.
And 4 player ports do matter! What the hell are Sony playing at?! A next generation console with 2 controller ports?! I can't believe that!
And you say 30 quid for the ability to play DVDs on your X-Box is ridiculous. Yes I agree with you....BUT....X-Box owners don't have to pay 30 quid to play 4 player games. PS2 owners DO! That makes it even.
So all that is left is the price of games.
Now, let's look at GameCube. THE DADDY!!!! :-D
