Apparantly many of the BIG electronic superstores are thinking about not selling the GameCube in their shops because of the price tag. They reckon it is too low a price and they wouldnt be able to make a profit from it.
So the stores might either make Nintendo increase the price or smoe thing else.

I'm still getting mine for £149.99 though :)
Nintendo sell SR Gamecube for lets say £150, they sell for £160 thus making a profit...
What's the difference?
The only retailer not doing Gamecube stock is CEX and that is because Nintendo told them not too... we don't know why?

Its not that they are not going to sell the gamecube, its that they are pushing the price up to around £160. They would be fools not to sell it.
