If you read digitizer this morning one of their main stories was about the GameCube.
Apparantly many of the BIG electronic superstores are thinking about not selling the GameCube in their shops because of the price tag. They reckon it is too low a price and they wouldnt be able to make a profit from it.
So the stores might either make Nintendo increase the price or smoe thing else.

Right... lets say microsoft sell an x-box to SR for £290... SR sell it for £300 thus making a £10 profit.

Nintendo sell SR Gamecube for lets say £150, they sell for £160 thus making a profit...

What's the difference?

The only retailer not doing Gamecube stock is CEX and that is because Nintendo told them not too... we don't know why?

Its not that they are not going to sell the gamecube, its that they are pushing the price up to around £160. They would be fools not to sell it.

Retailers usually get together and work out the asking price, so nothing is certain (yet)

MVC tells you to join them as a member for £5 or some thing and then you only get £1 off each item
