I have a super PC DVD player :D

Although I was very annoyed that the BTTF Triology didn't work on it.

So I thought it was broken.

Then I tried it on the actual DVD player and it worked, so I thought it just didn't work on my PC :(

Then I tried a different DVD software on my PC and it worked.

Then it stuffed up again.

So I carried on watching it on the real DVD player, and it stuffed up on that too.

So, in conclusion, I reckon it's faulty and I'm sending it back for a replacment :D

Presumably you have a hardware card for your PC, or a poor DVD player? :-)

My PC is in front of my bed, and the quality is the same as our actual DVD player :)

Which is nice, because I've run out of plug sockets...

Not really. I've ripped most of my CDs to HD for transfer to my MiniDisc player, but I rarely listen to them on the PC. My hi-fi is just to my right, with 580-watt speakers, so I prefer to use that! :-)

Never have, never will. I only ever put a DVD in the PC if it has online content that particularly interests me. Again, behind me I have a 28-inch widescreen TV and quality DVD player, and a bed to lie on, so I don't see any point sitting bolt upright in a chair squinting at a badly-decoded movie on a PC screen. :-)

CD's get played on the stereo, which the PC uses as speakers.

Unless I've been bothered to rip the tracks to MP3.

Never watch DVDs because the chair gets uncomfortable after a while - listen to CDs when I'm on the net though...

DVDs are great on PCs, because the picture is even clearer than it is on even the best TVs.

I don't watch them, though. :-D
