Is anyone in the forums in a band and if so what do you play?
I have written a fair few songs but my local bands are really bad, I want to give (for free) some of my songs to a metal/punk/rock band and hear what they sound like and the band can use the song as often as they want, provided they send me a tape of the song.
I want to learn bass guitar too, anyone know if its hard?

A band is a vocalist, drummer and at least 1 guitarist - perferably two.
Eminem isnt a band, he is a rapper. Tribute blows monkeys.

OK, I admit, I am Tribute and i rock. Idlewild rule all!
Can't you people realise what a band is classed as. All of you probably like eminem and such, you actually class that as music? Are you mad? You really should give Idlewild some credit. I'm not to keen on them but atleast they write real music instead of this naff manufactured rubbish.
