I am sick of Pokemon. Nintendo are repeatedly tarnishing their reputation with every new release of virtually the same game.
I bought Pokemon Blue, and I enjoyed playing it. If Nintendo had kept it with just the first 2 editions, the game would have been remembered as being great. Then came Yellow, Pinball, Trading Card, Gold Silver, Crystal and that Tetris-like game. Pokemon Stadium on the N64 was a good idea, but the series as a whole has been milked to death. The countless forms of cheap, plasticky mercahndise really have pushed it too far.
What annoy me most, though, are those stupid trading cards. God, people, get a life! They really were a disgrace, let's just thank God they've slowly gone away...

POKEMON, FILMS AND GAMES
the last few post, well quite a lot off post havent been about pokemon when this is a pokemon forum,i aint sayin there wernt important. but can we get back to the pokemon topic now and talk about the games more or wat ever you like about pokemon.
does any body know if you can or carnt catck celebi in the new pokemon game POKEMON CRYSTAL? because if herd all differnt storys saying you can and you carnt
and i would like to know before i went out and bought it.
what i have heard-if you catch all 250 pokemon,thats every single one (not just cought them and evloved them).and have all the badges, and when you entre the forest were the shrine is and you walk up to it then celebi appears and you are able to fight and catch it.
so is this true or not?
ABOUT POKEMON 2000 (film)
ive just watched it and i thought id tell use people about wat i though about it.
i recently watched the pokemon movie 2000 and even tho there was a talking slowking it was quite good.
the story line was miles better than the first and there was alot more action in this film,i dont really like the films or the t.v series but i thought i might aswell go out and rent this film to see wat it was like, and i was very serprised when i had watched it,
wat its about for those who havent seen it yet:-
its all based around ash (well it wouldnt be pokemon if ash wornt the main caracter)and friends,and theres a collector who plays a very important role in the movie.
ash and pals are out on a holiday in the orange islands when a storm errupts, the get shore safe on the island they have landed on there is a special ceromony going on and ash becomse the chosen one, he has to go to each one off 3 island ( ice , fire and lightining )and find the gems off each island and bring them back.meanwhile the collector is trying to hunt out the 3 legendary birds so he can capture the biggest prize off them all LUGIA.he needs all 3 birds to bring LUGIA out from the ocean floor.
he captures the birds one buy one coursing the orange islands alot off trouble with thw weather.ZAPDOS ARTICUNO and MOLTRES are basted o the 3 island that ash has to go to to recieve the 3 stones.when he finally gets all 3 stones and LUGIA appears from the deep , the people from the island reconise that the myth is coming true and that ash is the real chosen one who can stop all the trouble from happening and ash is the only one who can help LUGIA to bring peice between the 3 birds and there islands. all the pokemon across the world come to the orange island just incase they are needed.ash sets out to try and carm things down and help LUGIA to try and fight the 3 birds and restore peice,ash is findin it hard to reach one island to recover the stone that can restore LUGIA'S powers and help(but ash doesnt know this yet) yes surpise here a big surprise team rocket come and help ash reach the island and get the stone. once ash gets all the 3 stones LUGIA gets badly hurt and sinks back to the bottom off the ocean and MOLTRES,ARTICUNO and ZAPDS start fighting to reclam there islands back again from each others claws,when ash reaches back to the main land there awaites a slowking and tells ash to place all 3 stones in the statue once ash does this LUGIA become stronger than ever and arises from the deep and together with ash help helps to restore peace and turn all the islands back to the right status( ICE, FIRE and LIGHTINIG) and the 3 legendary birds return to the correct island and LUGIA returns to the deep again to watch over the orange islands.
all this started because the collector found an ancient mew card and he wanted to become the best collector around .
MY REVIEW OF POKEMON GOLD AND SILVER
About the game its self....
the graphics have been improved alot from POKEMON YELLOW,and the gameplay its self is miles better with more puzzels to work out.
In POKEMON GOLD/SILVER you start off as a new character in a new world with new POKEMON.
You will be able to chose the time/day/night or day/and f its day lights saving time or not.so when your playinr it in the real world it will be the same time/night or day/and the same day as we are in the real world.
you will recive a POKEMON fom the new prof ,prof elm.
You get the choice of 3 new starting POKEMON
chikorita=grass type
cyndaquil=fire type
tododile=water type
when you get your first pokemon the jurney begines
you will recive an egg from the profs aid which will then hatch in to TOGEPI.
from here on in,ull find it imposible to pull your self away from your gameboy and POKEMON GOLD/SILVER, the sheer joy of watchin your POKEMON grow in strenght and size and evolve is over wellming,this time there is more to learn about the POKEMON world and POKEMON them selfs,
there are more HMs TMs,to learn and earn,
in the game there are more puzzles than ever,the word is twice as big as the one in BLUE/RED and YELLOW.
in your new advanced pack,you will have a radio and a phone which will help you to keep in touch on whats happening else were in the game,like when a rare kind of POKEMON is in the area and so on.
there are 100 new POKEMON to catch and raise aswell as the old 151 POKEMON,
but as in BLUE/RED/YELLOW there are POKEMON which u carnt catch,
like
BULBASAUR,IVYSAUR AND VENUSAUR
CHARMANDER,CHARMELEON AND CHARIZARD
SQUIRTLE,WARTORTLE AND BLASTOISE

THERE ARE 8 NEW GYM LEADES AND BADGES TO COLLCET,and after you have beet them and the ELITE FOUR you will be able to go to the old map and complete that,there you will come across GARY AND ASH,but they will be called BLUE and RED,
ASH has very high leved POKEMON all abone level 70 with a very hight level PIKACHU on level 81,]
the 3 LEGENDARY DOGS/CATS are hard to come across,you will set them free when you entre the BURNED TOWER and from there on they will travel all around johto,
to catch the rare and ultra strong POKEMON HO-OH and LUGIA you will need the GOLD and SILVER WINGS,an a very large stock off ULTRA and GREAT BALLS,and probaly some REVIVES.
Durong the game you will come across lots of puzzles and mysteries,like the RUINS OF ALPH
where u will come across the starange forms of the UNOWNS.
In the game there are many new items to find,buy win and collect.
TO COMPLETE THIS GAME YOU WILL NEED TO TRADE WITH FRIENDS OR BUY BOTH COPIES,AND DOWNLOAD THE ULTRA RARE AND ULTRA STRONG CELEBI FROM NINTENDOS ROADSHOWS.
POKEMON GOLD/SILVER will never leave your GAMEBOY unless you need to use it on your N64 game POKEMON STADIUM GS,when it arrives on our shores.
