Plus it's the hardest console to develop for=less games!

Pokémon's cool!
What most Pokémon fans find great about Pokémon is the challenge - it takes ages to capture all 251 pokémon, and craft your very own perfect team of 6 Pokémon after weeks of work. Playing other people with your very own trained Pokémon and absolutely smashing your opponent is very rewarding ^_^
A huge amount of strategy is involved - you have to spend more time learning all the type advantages and disadvantages, all the different Pokémon's types, and what their best stats are (Attack, Defense, Special Attack, Special Defense or Speed) in order to do well in battle.
After lots of work, you get to call yourself the best, and it definately makes it worth it. This applies to the TCG as well.
You just CAN'T spend a couple of minutes on it and expect a brilliant game - you have to put effort in.
That's the main reason why those people who played Pokémon a few times, and then gave up, think it's just an ordinary RPG - they never fully appreciated all the effort that has to be put in. Those are the kind of people who'll just use Fire attacks from their level 60 Charizard against a Water Pokémon and who cares whether "it's not very effective". All they see is a game where you push A on your most powerful attack constantly and hope the opposition faints.
Anyway, not all people who don't like Pokémon are like this, this is just a stereotype, but I've seen quite a few people who have that opinion - and they just haven't got into it enough.
Sorry for going on, I'd just like to push that at the people who don't like Pokémon to see what they think ^_^
