Please vote.

Say "keep avatars" if you want to keep the avatars.

Say "remove avatars" if you want them removed from the default layout (not seen by lurkers or potential new users).

Please don't vote for "yes but what if".

You are, of course, welcome to state your reasons.

For may part I have nothing much against them but I am already fed up with my Lotus brake disk assembly.


CONCLUSION - We'll add the option to swtich them off (Avatars ON or Avatars OFF) to the top of the thread if we can, as well as it being inside the user account.

I concur.

Keep avatars. They can be switched off for individual users who don't want them.

So, are you using DOS or Unix?

I'm for them; if you don't like them, isn't there an option to turn them off anyway? Let people have 'em if they want.

Sorry Machie. I like them, and the fact that there is an option to switch them off for anyone that doesn't like them makes it all the more logical to keep them.

Sorry Tony, it just wont work they all love avatars. =( Chaos loves avatars, Sunny loves avatars, Biggie Little Jnr loves avatars. I'm afraid it's just me and Ladybird, (And she's probably just being sweet so it's not just me on my own, aww)

I'm an oldie, I remember a time chatting on the internet in usenet groups and there weren't any images at all let alone avatars. Text as far as the eye could see. Those were the days, sadly long gone now =(

I'd probably want to keep them too if Ladybird used her photo as one. =D

Okay you guys win this round, you can keep your avatars but I ain't letting you have your image smilies and signatures. I'll see you in hell before I let you do that to these forums.
