The N64 played host to many great games some of which don't quite get the credit they deserve.

Top of the list is F1 World Grand Prix 2. I got this game back in August 2000. I played over and over again racing in championships beating my previuos scores until I reached Champion. Then I realised this game is nearly impossible by this time it was around Christmas. I decided to try it without damage on becuase it was so impossible. I eventually won after 4 seasons of trying. Eventually I plucked up the courage to try Champion with damage on and just after a year of having the game I finally did it.

The feeling of driving is so amazing you feel like your driving an F1 car. The speed is incredible and after a while you know how to take corners at ridiculously high speeds, on the edge of spinning of and ruining your race. I paid 14.99 and I got a year of high-speed fun, I don't believe how much this game has been overlooked.

Second is Excitebike 64, check out my review to see why this game would be a classic if more people knew about it.

Third is Turok Rage Wars. Ignore the 1 player the multiplayer is excellent. A true 3d 1st person shoot-em-up. You will play for hours just playing with other people trying to kill them. People have ignored it due to Goldeneye but as a multiplayer game it is far far superior.

If you think any other N64 games deserve more credit post your reasons here.

Mario kart, although a good game, was very dissapointing when compared with the SNES version,.

Excitebike is brilliant!! I got it recently for a GAD. The controls may be a bit difficult at first, with the stick, but once you've got the hang of it it's one of the best games ever!!

I also got Turok Rage Wars when I joined SR last summer, and I also brought Goldeneye on that day. I only briefly played it on the day I got it, and I don't think much of it. Mainly becasue I don't like the controls, using the C-buttons to move around - South Park style!
The single player would be better otherwise, and as for the multiplayer, how can you call it one when it's only upto 2 player?? A decent multiplayer game needs to have more than 2 player, good controls, and be fun overall! To me, TRW just isn't. I asked some people if they wanted to play it but they said no, they'd rather play Perfect Dark and Goldeneye. I'm glad I didn't pay for it, but I don't think it's quite as bad as Carmageddon!

I got this as a free game when renewing my subscription with SR. And i'd have to say that I didn't really play it that much. I completed it with a few characters, but then it ended up being just playing through the same levels and fighting the same people, just using yet another character. I personally think that Goldeneye and PD had far better multiplayer modes than any of the Turok games.

Hmmmm, weird choice there...respect your opinion though? Have played Zelda:OOT or Goldeneye?

My faves would have to be Zelda:OOT, Conker, Perfect Dark and Goldeneye.

I could not disagree more with your list.
Goldeneye no.1
Zelda Ocarina of time no.2
And that it for me
