SR are saying there gamecube price will be £159.99 and they currently have no database of games.

At "Amazon" the gamecube costs £164.99, but there is no £20 deposit, and they have most of the launch games for £39.99.

Come on SR, I've been a loyal member for over 2 years now, so be kind an do a database of games, and please tell me the £20 deposit is taken away from the total price so i will only have to pay £139.99.

True, but they are likely to sell it at £39.99 (it looks better!)

Precisely, the price has been "confirmed" but only in foreign currency. As you point out, it means not a lot when it comes to UK distributors.

I can not say this for definite as I`m clearly not a member of staff, but in most situations, the deposit is part of the eventual cost, so you`ll only have to pay the remainder.

As for the game database, its in SR`s best interest to put one up, so if they haven`t done so, its because they haven`t been given sufficient info yet. Perhaps the price is still unconfirmed (Are Amazon risking it?), or perhaps the full launch line up and details aren`t fully confirmed until today (isn`t it Feb 5th that Nintendo set everything straight?). Obviously they`ve already announced the launch date, but there was supposedly something big today wasn`t there?
