Maureen Palmer, 69, was hit over the head after she found an intruder wrestling with her son in her living room. She bravely shouted "nobody hurts my son," prompting the man to hit her with the PlayStation he was in the process of stealing.

The man escaped and Mrs Palmer was taken to hospital for treatment to her eye and forehead.

All of us here would like to wish her a speedy recovery, and point out that she was lucky it wasn't an Xbox.

A simple Yes or No anwser will do.

She is still alive.

I laughed, the por-poise of the joke was to make us laugh.

X-Box jokes are well funny

The crook would'nt have been able to lift an X-Box by himself anyway, he would have needed a Forklift truck and then he would have to put it in the back of a van before the forks broke!
