That was my theory. Two nuts are never cracked the same and you never know where your fingers will end up. Sometimes they're safe, sometimes you get them caught in the cracker.
Shame. I had to do a short project on that a year ago. Its quite interesting when you get into it.
As for nuts... I`ve been stumped by brazils. Walnuts and stuff can be broken by hand, but with Brazils, it requires so much force that it usually ends in a nutty disaster.

It sank like a big nutty bomb. Actually, it was just me talking about how difficult I find it to crack nuts. Made a damn fine point about nuts and chaos theory though.
