There are many things Consoles need, Games is the obvious one along with a controller and well a screen to see what ur doin on. I hope the NGC will more, its design; "innovative" yes, buitiful, NO, its a brick, literally.

2ndly the controller; a dodgy mix of PS and N64, i guess will have to wait and see whether it competes with the 64 controller, which despite its size and lack of aesthetics, killed.

3rdly the handle; completely insane, its hideous and defies the term "useful".

Although these negatives stick out like the Lilt ladies rear ends in a field, the NGC has a lot going for it, or does it? Will Nintendo maximise their names whilst creating decent innovative new ones? Mario, yes it will rock, Mario Kart? who knows... Zelda? plz dont use this shocking shading method, and 3rd party, Rare saved em once, will they have to do 60% of the work again?

We just hope the games can make up for the minor glitches the NGC has, such as NO DVD PLAYING capability, at least not, surprise surprise in the UK...

Can't you guys take a little constructive critism?

El Moro never really said the GC is rubbish, yet you flame him. He was mearly saying there are a few things that need to be improved on it. The same as saying the PS2 reliability issue needs to be improved, and the Xbox's size needs to be improved.

Also, Indian-DudeY2K. He never said at one point that he had held, a GC controller, or even seen one in real life. For the controller, he said "we will have to see" what the GC controller will be like. He didn't insult it, he suggested what COULD have been done to improve it.

I admit, he didn't really back up his evidence, but please try and reply in a decent way, like "although the controller does look dodgy, it is very confortable". This way El Moro would be able to be corrected and realise his mistake. Much better than "No it isn't rubbish you ponce!"

At the end, he even said they were MINOR glitches. And to be honest, I agree with most of what he said even though I am thinking of getting a GC. For a start, the handle seems to be completly useless as most people never move their console. It just takes up space on the back of the console.
Even if someone did use the handle, they would still have to cart all the wires and controllers around with them, making the handle pointless.

Yet another completely useless piece of Spam... why?
You're acting like Newbies trying to become Regulars quick- and by doing this, they'd be kicked out.

This has turned into "Regulars allowed to SPAM here topic"... disgraceful...

Anyway, back to the (rather badly spelt) original topic...

"There are many things Consoles need, Games is the obvious one along with a controller and well a screen to see what ur doin on. I hope the NGC will more, its design; "innovative" yes, buitiful, NO, its a brick, literally."

I cannot understand a word of this. It begins saying a console needs games. Good, and very true. Then, without using a fullstop at all you cram some nonsensical points about controllers with screen (maybe you are talking about VMU screen like on the Dreamcast???). Oh, and then something about the design of the console. It's a brick... seen a PS2 or Xbox lately?

"2ndly the controller; a dodgy mix of PS and N64, i guess will have to wait and see whether it competes with the 64 controller, which despite its size and lack of aesthetics, killed. "

Just one question- do you like the N64 controller or not. You say that "despite it's size and lack of aesthetics [it] killed". Is this a good thing or a bad thing??? Anyway, the GC controller obviously draws influence from the PS, whichg drew on the Snes pad, which drew on the NES pad etc ,etc... all pads are based on the ones that have come before.

Anyway, the GC pad is meant to be extremely comfortable... so I'll have to wait till I use one to put it down in any way!

"3rdly the handle; completely insane, its hideous and defies the term "useful". "

Well, I agree... about it not being useful. But does it look hideous? After all, you'll never see it- it's at the back of the console!
