Anyway, was thinking about getting a 2D Beat-em-up pretty soon. Dunno why I want one I just have an urge for some reason.
So I was looking at Capcom VS SNK 2 EO and was thinking of going for that as I want it for the GC etc. Just wondering though, is there any other 2D Beat-em-up's planned for the future? Because I can wait, unless this is just a one week thing.
Views on Capcom VS SNK 2 EO are also cool. I've read about the GC's small D-pad being a problem but nothing much else.
Hit me with it.

Nope, they just say SNK alot. Didn't SNK make a handheld?!?
The game got a pretty average score on IGN. Normally I go for the high rated stuff.
> Street Fighter games were really good
The only reason I hate them is because it becomes a one player game for me.
A friend steps up to challenge me and I am too good for him.
Someone else comes to challenge me and I kill them.
Then they think its rubbish because they are pants at it. Thats how my mate think anyway, so sometimes I give him a big advantage.
Thing is though, in Capcom VS SNK EO the 'EO' bit stands for Easily Operated or something. What they've done here is introuduced some new method to pull of special moves where you can just move the C-stick and you'll do some massive combo. Where as before you would have to press buttons in different directions and stuff.
Basically they've done this so that adult gamers and young gamers can enjoy the game alike. The way I see it is that the developers better not of said to themselves "Mingnak ding vic, slick manusiguri man waiga" or "Right, the GameCube is aimed at kids, lets add in an option for them".
Grrrrr
I used Blanka I think, or someone else I can't remember.
I just watched a video of Capcom VS SNK 2 EO and the Japenese music is doing my head in already.
Ah, good memories. Ken was the best. Obviously. Despite having stupid hair.
I read about Link being in Soul Calibur 2, I think its just a rumor and all though. It would fit perfectly though as he has a sword, shield and stuff so why not.
YODAK FLAME!
That's too English.
Well, it sounded like that anyhoo... :-)
I haven't heard about any other 2D fighters coming out, so if you want a game with some ridiculously large special moves and combos, that capcom one is probably the best choice. Mortal Kombat looks okay, but I've never really been into that series... Soul Calibur 2 looks pretty interesting. Anyone know if that rumour about Link being in the GC version was true...?
