Special Reserve will be selling Game Cubes at £159.99.

There was speculation in the trade press that they could be as high as £179.99. The trade price has been set in Euro's not £Sterling and therefore prices could fluctuate in the UK.

Very nice price!

As soon as I get £300 together I'll be ready.

Here's the list,

£7.50 to join SR. (no I'm not a member yet. I was waiting for the GC to arrive, and a GC free gift accessory to join with.)
£160 to buy myself a GC from here.
I'd say another £130 to buy all the accessories I need from here.

That works out around £300.

Only £250 to go..... I will get it though, mind you. Soon.

Hopefully they have learnt their lesson from the £50 games that never shifted on the 64

Nintendo have exclusive rights to optical discs and *could* charge through the nose for them, GamePak-style. However, I really doubt they can be that stupid and all sources point to games being normal proce - £40.

Well in typical Nintendo fashion i bet £50, might be £35, but Nintendo always have to cost more than anyone else for games

X-Box is £297.99 from SR and the games are £42.99 or some at £39.99.

£159.99 is the best price you will find, SR are the best and so is Tony...

Remember when you pre-ordered PS2's, you got free stuff: "PS2 DVD remote..." and so on?

Anything with that here? Don't worry if not, I don't think anyone would really mind.

I had a feeling we wouldn't get the equivalent price in pounds that the rest of Europe gets in euros.

I was going to post this a few days ago, but I thought I'd wait and see, lest I be proved a fool ;)

As it was, I can say "I almost told you so, but didn't"

Well, I think I can still afford that hefty £10 increase. I'll still be getting one, and almost certainly from SR.
