NTL has about the best deal - £24.99 a month but thats only for Cable.
Then theres Telewest which is about £60 more than NTL.

BT's is £65 activation charge + £85 for the modem and filters that allow you to use the phone at the same time + £27 a month!
A tad expensive if you ask me.
It just says "Free Installtion + £24.99 a month. Nothing about other costs

Oh yeah, I had to pay £50 for the connection including a network card. But there must be the same set up costs for the NTL package.

Well your right it is £25 a month but then theres the modem fittings and filters like BT have.

A bit confused by that, I have Telewest Broadband and it only costs me £25 per month. But to answer your question it will depend on if there is a monthly subscription and how much, over a £5 and probably not.
