Is this some kind of attack on my intelligence because I'm not at school

The story is:

Last year in my higher exams I got 3 As and 2 Bs which is much more than I needed to get to University.

So I could have gone to Uni, but I hadn't planned to and I'm still only 16 which is far too young in my opinion.

So this year I have no motivation to acheive in subjects I hate.
