This new Pokémon game will continue from Gold and Silver (I expect that there will be Red Advance and Blue Advance, having seen the two main monsters).
Hopefully, the battles will make use of the GBA's 32 power to make the battles look like a decent battle with the different Pokémon moving around and you actually see the trainer use items and throw Pokéballs.

Anyway, 350 Pokémon in the game, the main ones are called Latius and Latios and are brother and sister. Said to be set in a city much like Venice, ie lots of water.
More info at E3.
And if you already knew this, then excuse me. I'm sure it's news to some.
Remember, Pokémon for the Game Boy Advance will be using the Card-E-Reader and special scannable cards to upgrade Pokémon stats and unlock minigames.
More news in GBX Magazine. (I've seen the game in motion on the GBX Video)
