Hello
I have just taken delivery of my surround sound system, now the problem of connecting up the box to it....anyone got any suggestions on which type of leads etc are required? I have been told to get a digital optical cable, but what else is needed? and is it worth buying brand names or ordinary leads? does it make much difference? Any advice??

for the optical digital (providing your amp/speaker set is digital then an optical cable is best but you'll need the advanced scart lead AND an optical cable.

stupid i know, unlike the PS2 which had an optical output on the console itself.

Just connect the two audio leads running to the scart to your speakers, if it dosnt reach just get some audio extention cables, on quality, the gold plated ones are the best.
