i am getting P****D off with a few of the "regulars" who post on virtually every topic and criticise all that post in these topics, if they can't help then they should butt out and post there arrogance in a topic titled "Arrogant people post here", they citicise everything from what operating system you use to your grammer and spelling (they are not so perfect themselves) and some of us have lives outside their computers and don't always proof read everything they and other people write SAD SAD SAD.
oooooooooo i can't wait to see some of the backlash i get from those "regulars".
Turbonutter will post first.

Why the hostility... do we have some examples? We've never really had a problem in this forum before and anything that does go on is usually in jest...
Rob staaaarts iiiit...
Tyla's right, most of the prodding around here is just good humoured jesting, not malicious stabs...unless you happen to meet Rob around somewhere, he's very protective of "his" forum, but as soon as you've proved yourself as a poster he'll lay off..it's not if you're a newbie or a regular, but the quality of your posts, the contributions you make and the help you give.
I don't know as much about web stuff as a lot of the guys on here, so I leave it to them, and do hardware stuff myself. Hardware geeks VS software nerds...we all prod each other, but don't take it seriously - like I said, stay around and you'll see it's not serious..
In my day we had some repect for our elders!! Bloody ungrateful little farts.
Indeed we arent that bad (i'm h'officially the forum thug so slip me a fiver once a week and I'll look after you!) apart from rob who is a bit over protective of this forum, its just that this is one of the few forums that isnt full of newbies and spam and where you can have a decent intellectual conversation.
I agree that rob very often posts in threads that he knows naff all about and quite often gives some crap advice, particularly hardware threads (leave it to us hardware junkies please you software nerd you) just to increase his presence, but whatever makes him happy..

I take offense to that.

Guilty as charged, y'onour. Actually, I never post in threads that I know naff all about (BIOS flashing eg), but if I'm not exactly an expert I'm always careful about what I say.

... so I'm not sure that "new" belongs with the "bie".
Maybe the stats should reflect "noisy" rather than "regular"? Only kidding.
On the other hand, if "new" means "young", then carry on fooling yourselves, guys.
