According to playnationmag.co.uk, this game is out tomorrow (31 Jan), I take it this is incorrect, and release date is 8th Feb as everyone states.
Plus I thought it was time a Wipeout thread was started, what did you all think of the demo's ?, I personally have never bought a Wipeout game before, this will be my first, slowdown and all.

The demo was alright - Ive got this on order so Im hoping it will be good if not the groundbreaking game we were expecting!!

Having played the demos and read the reviews, I don't think I'll be bothering with Wipeout Fusion. I still have Wip3out from my PS1 - I'll stick with that, as I think it's the better game.

I have the demo from the very new OPS2M, the one with the MGS2 demo.

The demo I have is appauling, It's a test run with only your craft, no music, stopping using both airbrakes is disabled, controls are a bit naff and overall it looks quite tacky however the more I see of the PROPER game the more I want it!!!!!!

The demo is good. I was thinking about getting the game, but with MGS2 and all the other PS2 games coming out, I think I will save my money. Also getting an X-Box on March 14th and a GC in the summer, I only can afford to buy the best games out. Wipeout Fusion is good, but not a must have game for me.
