Off next week to being recording Parker debut album and supporting Haven on a mini-tour of Scotland/North England for 4 days.
We supported them in Southend a few weeks ago and got on really well with them, and we were suggested as support.

Sounds great. Hey, if you get really famous, do you think you'd be able to get my band a free recording? I would love you forever.

And 9 days to record the drum-tracks for our stuff.
13 songs, 9 days.
Including 3 days to just play around with sounds.
And the most difficult part of all this?
Listening to CDs to get ideas for drum sounds.
Wow, that's such hard work.
I already have Bonham's MASSIVE 70s sound and Helmet's tight-snare in mind.
Imagine the best job in the world you always wanted to do.
Your ideal, childhood dream occupation.
Now imagine, after 20+ years of dreaming about it, it finally starts to happen over the course of a couple of years.
I can't begin to try and convey just how stupidly happy I am with this.
If we ever break it big (and we will), I promise to never, ever complain about playing, because that's not a job.
It's the luckiest thing in the world to be allowed to do what you love to.

So during the day we're in the studio recording drums, and then we leave early afternoon to get to these venues for soundchecks at 7pm.
And then drive back after the gigs to make sure we're still in the studio for the next day.
It'll be exhausting but goddamned worth it.
I'm taking photos of the lot and scanning them in.
