Or "UK means nothing"
They delayed the release of Creature Isles from Feb 1st to Feb 8th.
Then they delayed Medal of Honour (PC) to Feb 15th from Feb 1st.
Both of these are available in other countries, but not here.
Now the PS2 version od Medal of Honour has been delayed until June/July.
Why?
Why does a company treat the UK like this?
And it's invariably EA games that are bug-laden.
And they love to use Gamespy for multiplayer games, one of the most unwieldy methods of Netplay I've ever encountered.
Damn Dirty EA and their non-replying PR department.

No, it's the draft version of this email, yet to be run

Well spotted Gangsta.

Yeah Gangsta, you and your spelling mistakes.
(PS, i just felt like saying that, I've never talked to you before. :D)
I hope not, that was meant to be released very soon wasn't it??

No, it's the draft version of this email, yet to be run through spellcheck.

Well spotted Gangsta.
Apologies for my naivity
So far a total of 2,500 people will be not buying EA products during that week, combined with several emails from everyone that read:
As a consumner, we provide the money that you see as your divine right and inheritance.
And as a consumner, we have the power to demonstrate against the arrogant and contemptous behaviour you continously display to people that buy your products that enable your board meetings and quarterly profit reports.
We give you the power to delay release dates by purchasing EA products.
We also have the power to take that away from you and show you that we are not an annoyance, we are the sole reason that your company exists.
Do not assume you have any right to be in a marketplace where you fail the consumner on a regular basis.

Won't do anything, but even if it's just 2,500 people in the UK not buying EA games, then that's roughly £75,000 in non-purchased stock.
Damn them all to hell.
And down with the system. And all that.
Although, thinking about it, if everyone with a problem complained at once, do you reckon we'd be able to indundate with enough complaints that they'd have to do something about it?
A couple of emails asking why they treat the UK so badly.
Did you know we are on the same release schedule, gamewise, as Peru and Chile.
Godbless the internet and cross-continent games ordering.
If you want to see the state of things, head over to the Black and White website and see people like Peter Molyneaux (head of Lionhead Studios) trying to explain that EA "might have been less than 100% efficient in the distribution of Creature Isles and Lionhead are equally frustrated by this".
So if I can get a reply from Peter Molyneaux, you'd think some desk-monkey in EA would respond.
But nope.
Piracy is wrong and illegal and kills developers.
And some immoral and downright scandolous gamers, if they were so inclined, could possibly find these games on fileshare.
But Pirates are evil and should be jailed or something.
Damn Dirty EA and their non-replying PR department.
LOL - have you been trying to give them some, how shall i put it, of your Goat boy charm?
