On Writing is certainly very interesting so far, only just got into it at the moment, stuff from when he was a kid.

I'll be picking that up too then.

I glanced at it in WHSmith's once, but wasn't sure if it would be handy.

I'm trying to write a novel. I keep scrawling ideas down, and am trying to get the basic structure sorted, so it just doesn't get lost.

It's hard to find time to work on it though, and sometimes those ideas don't look right on paper.

Get Eye of the World anyway, becazuse Stephen King turns has a little machine in his backyard where he types in new names and a different method of killing and the same book gets produced.
