Well excluding the GBA... which is first in Japan and second in America and Europe.

Gamecube sold aproximatly 1.5 million consoles in europe last year... 1.4 million was the aprox for the X-box...

released a few months earlier.... better value for money and giving away free games?

Heavy marketing push and all as well as a killer ap for christmas.

And Nintendo still managed to overtake?

And all those X-box fanboys were saying how losing Rare has meant Nintendo have died in the sales...

This is great news for Nintendo - especially on top of the fact that the GameCube is now, once again, beating the X-Box in weekly sales in America. PS2 is the next target..

My PS2 was replaced for free does that count as an extra sale?
