"Prompting a collective sigh of relief rather than full, lager-fuelled, throwing-chairs-out-of-windows excitement, Nintendo of Europe confirmed that a bonus disc will release with Zelda: The Wind Waker in Europe, as it has in Japan and will in the US.
Doubtless aware that anything to the contrary would have been met with Continent-wide riots, NoE MD David Gosen confirmed that the extra disc was planned at the GBA SP press conference earlier this week.
Characteristically skirting specifics ahead of an official announcement, Gosen stated that NoE had yet to decide what it planned to do with "our disc". Backing this up, European product manager Marko Hein told us: "Of course we know that it's a very exciting opportunity to have this demo disc, so were playing around with it and have very exciting plans, which we'll announce at a later date."
While the fine art of double-speak kept a tight lid on further details, it seems almost certain that Ocarina of Time and Ura Zelda will be released here, since the same is happening in the US, with the only grey area remaining exactly which demos NoE wishes to include.

I'm going to pre order this and make my Mum give it to me as my birthday pressie on the 28th of June.
I don't want to get it straight away otherwise I will be to involved in it that I don't revise for my GCSEs which I have to try very hard to so I can get access to Sixth form.
The GCSEs finish the day before my birthday on the 27th and so Zelda will be a reward.

Well...it has an expansion pack...
Graphically, it will most probably be identical to the N64 original.

hurray! I - very stupidly - got rid of OOT to generate some extra money to buy, oh.... No Mercy, I think, and never actually completed it. I'm so glad I'll have the chance.

I'd assume that the discs will be thrown-in with the first to pre-order The Wind Waker, and that the bonus discs will later be available to buy seperatley as a pack. Isn't that what's happening in Japan?
Either way, whether you get the extra discs on the 3rd of May or not, I'm sure you'll be able to get these games at a later-date anyway.

Cool, I've been interested in Zelda since the early N64 days, but not having an N64 I never got a chance to try it. So this is good news for me.

Cheers WS, I always wanted ZOT but I had sold my N64 before I got the chance. Is it going to be updated or just a straight port? Is it all going to be one DISC for the expansion? Cheers.
