Wipeout Fusion a 5?
Coo, some people aren't going to like that.
Just remember kids, Edge reviews are tougher than most, and it's just an opinion.
And note the Xbox scores, for those of you that believe that the staff of Edge actually live in an Xbox.
Super Monkey Ball 9/10
Luigi's Mansion 8/10
Wave Race 8/10
Rogue Squadron 7/10
Super Smash Bros Melee 6/10 (I think)
These maybe a little incorrect though.
5/10 is an average game. In theory, exaclty half of games released should be above this score, and half below... which is how edge judges it. 5/10 does not mean the game is at all bad... just that it's a rehash of old ideas, adding nothing new to the genre. Nothing particuarly bad, nothing particuarly new.
And then 10/10 is an almost unheard of score, meaning that you have gaming perfection- games that push all the boundries- sight, sound, plot, gameplay. Only a handful of games have ever done this: Halo, Zelda OOT, Mario, Goldeneye, and rightly so. If you give 90% to every games (NOM!), then the score becomes meaningless.

Luigi manison has been getting less than 8/10 from alot other places so Edge must like this one. It looks good with a unique gaming experience but other reivews say its abit linear and nothing as ground breaking as Mario 64 was for the N64.
Maximo looks good. I think I may get this instead of Wipeout Fusion, as the demo of Wipeout Fusion I played didnt really grab me. I thought it was good but not a game that is worth a purchase, especially when there are so many other good games coming out soon.
Halo
Zelda 64
and something else..
and no the Edge cru dont live in an XBox
Mario 64
Zelda: Ocarina of Time
Gran Turismo
Halo
