But even if you hate golf, I've discovered that Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2003 is the best purchase I've EVER made for the PS2. It's right up there with Final Fantasy X, except PGA has even MORE longevity.
If you think golf games are boring, think again and give this one a try, because it really does entertain. True, you can't shoot anyone or blow things up or go racing on golf carts or whack an opponent around the head with a 3 Iron, but this is the best use of the PS2's emotion engine I've yet seen.
It's got tonnes to unlock, immense challenge, variety, but most of all it's got entertainment by the bucketload. I was chuckling all the way through my first 18-hole tournament because of some of the antics of the commentators and opponents. (I suppose it'll wear thin after a while but then I can always turn the commentary and cut scenes off).
And there was me thinking that most EA games were naff...

I agree with FM, basically. Must buy it. Absolutely terrific, high EA production values plus great gameplay equals good game.
Did they make on 10 copies and that's why it's sold out on just about every internet site?

Must be damn good and will pick it up as soon as stocks are back in, come on SR get your act together....then I can renew my membership at the same time!!
