So we get black or purple at launch, and tons of games.
I calculate 60 Euros to be around £37. Not bad a price for games.
Man, there are some decent games there.
The console is only £150, there were rumors going round of it being £200 so that is the first good point.
That is a great line up of games that are in there too. There are the 3 great Japanese launch games, Tony Hawk's 3, ISS2, (which I think is Pro Evo Cubed) Rouge Leader, Burnout and Crazy Taxi. Yes, mostly all of them are conversions from other consoles but this is still a great launch. I thought EA had Tricky and NBA Street in the launch line up too though, didn't they?
Next up for good points is that there will be 500,000 to 1 million units at launch, and I would have to say that a fair few of those will be for us here in the UK.
Also it is good that we have black as a launch colour as well as purple. I am hoping to get a black one as it has been said in some places that the Silver one won't see the light of day but black will be good enough.
Overall this is a great launch, the X-Box will be out first but only just first. At least it ain't out in September or Xmas like some magazines rumored.
I'll end this by saying, Ninty rule! :D
And now I really need to go round my friend's and play his imported GC. Wet my appetite. :-D
"Well, I am genuinly happy for you all that you now have your date."
Said Turbonutter, who felt more than a little like a wolf in a field of sheep.
:0)
And I payed 70 quid for the original Turok!!!
Anyway, I bought a PS2 at Christmas and I was planning to buy a GC on my Birthday (June 29th) but this price has got me all excited. A lot more excited than I thought I'd be. So, after I've given my bank account careful consideration, I may decide to just buy one when they're released. Just gotta control my money spending on PS2.....which shouldn't be too hard. I'm a lot more layed back about buying games for my PS2 than I was with the N64. Only got 4 for my PS2 and I've already got MGS2 as a claimed GAD. So what else do I need? Wipeout perhaps. Medal of Honour and a few others. And I don't NEED a few of those PS2 games as much as I NEED Rogue Leader. The GC shall be mine....mine....ALL MINE!!!! Well, maybe not all mine since other people will buy one too but....well I'm rambling.
This is me, signing off......very excited. :-D
I didn't think that they'd be more expensive than the N64 pads!
