Lucky it was that some promo copies of MK had arrived.
Slapped its monkey disk behind into the Cube and me and a fellow staffie where off on a little adventure.
Overall, its great fun, not really sure about its appeal over more than a few hours, but I liked the fact I was playing it before many others.
I won't get it brand new, but I will get it.

i got MK:DA about 4 months ago and i like it a lot!
not sure bout the krypt idsea with buying characters and maps etc.
i havent managed to buy one new character yet!
your right, the lastability is not great, and i havent put it on for a while, then again i havent put any game in my cube for a while now, been wasting my life away on xbox live.
only game i play on cube at all now is Dead to rights.
nothing else really poses a challenge
