In the first half of the year we have seen some truly great games and many more to come from september onwards,Please could you reply with your chosen game from the list given below,any others that i forget to mention please forgive becaus ei cant remmember all the great games this year.
No.1 Resident Evil:Code Veronica
Survival Horror at its very best a true game to show off the power of the Dreamcast,with super graphics and scaryness added this is one not to forget
No.2 Deus Ex ,A pc game with great graphics this game has 2 elements to it ,one it is a wicked rpg and the other a top first person shooter,weird you better try it out to see for yourself a brilliant game
No.3 Gran Turismo ,Every bodies favourite racer with improved graphics a massive selection of cars and super handling ,you can see why this sold by the bucketload.
No.4 Perfect Dark, Goldeneye sequel brought back now with a female who can control agun very well,the n64 bestseller is a top game,with great graphics and top notch gameplay.
No.5 Resident Evil 3, The second in an the list but for good reason,6this pushes the psx that little bit further with lovely graphics and great gamelplay ,runn from the nemisis and rescue Racoon City
No.6 Virtua Tennis, Tennis brought to life ,graphics to die for and gameplay which is out of this world you cannot go wrong with,this is by far the best sports game to date.
No.7 Dead or Alive ,Super lush fighter with beautiful women in tight tops,superb graphics and brilliant gameplay this is one not to miss.
No.8 WWF Smackdown ,if grappling action is what you love it is all here with the best characters and great moves one for the wrestling fans that should no be missed.
No.9 Pokemon ,All the games included here wirh red ,blue and now yellow,the craze is here and we all love it,but what it boils down to is have you got what it takes to be a pokemon master,if the answer is yes choose number 9.
N0.10 Colin Mcrae Rally 2, if you are up for a bit a tyre burning ,energy pumping rally action do not miss out on this stormer of a game,a brilliant sequel.

I only had a demo of Diablo 1, and I played that more than some of the games I brought!
Has anyone played Super Mario RPG, not exactly the same, but pretty decent.

Yeah, Big D, a few days ago, Edgy picked Diablo II as well, we both seem to enjoy RPG's of massive depth, and Diablo looks like it could offer that.
I like all of them from a gaming point of view. The best for me this year is Planescape Torment by BlackIsle on the PC, so far anyway, I'm just waiting for Diablo II to arrive in my mailsack before I can know for sure.
I know I set up this topic but I want to vote well it has to be Resident Evil Code Veronica on the Dreamcast,it is by far the best game i have playd this half of the year,I do like adventure games and this is a classic especially with horror implamented.The graphics are great and the sound makes you want to jump out of your skin,the game is scary and huge,it is the first to be set over 2 discs and two different areas.It is a great game and it even shows emotions like when she falls in love with steve,there is another point there is a love interest that takes a nasty turn further on in the game,this is a classic game but I feel there is still better to come at the end of the year with half life and shenmue.
It's difficult to think of only one good game for this year. Probably Tony Hawk's on the Dreamcast is the one that keeps me playing the most. Problem is, one day I feel like one game and another day I could be enjoying something else. The game I'm playing this week is Dead or Alive 2 (borrowed from a friend) which is amazing but a bit shallow, although I may have to buy a copy as it is a game I could play again and again. Pokemon has been big, but it never 'got' me the way it did other people. Guess I'm just too old for it!!!
