In the first half of the year we have seen some truly great games and many more to come from september onwards,Please could you reply with your chosen game from the list given below,any others that i forget to mention please forgive becaus ei cant remmember all the great games this year.
No.1 Resident Evil:Code Veronica
Survival Horror at its very best a true game to show off the power of the Dreamcast,with super graphics and scaryness added this is one not to forget
No.2 Deus Ex ,A pc game with great graphics this game has 2 elements to it ,one it is a wicked rpg and the other a top first person shooter,weird you better try it out to see for yourself a brilliant game
No.3 Gran Turismo ,Every bodies favourite racer with improved graphics a massive selection of cars and super handling ,you can see why this sold by the bucketload.
No.4 Perfect Dark, Goldeneye sequel brought back now with a female who can control agun very well,the n64 bestseller is a top game,with great graphics and top notch gameplay.
No.5 Resident Evil 3, The second in an the list but for good reason,6this pushes the psx that little bit further with lovely graphics and great gamelplay ,runn from the nemisis and rescue Racoon City
No.6 Virtua Tennis, Tennis brought to life ,graphics to die for and gameplay which is out of this world you cannot go wrong with,this is by far the best sports game to date.
No.7 Dead or Alive ,Super lush fighter with beautiful women in tight tops,superb graphics and brilliant gameplay this is one not to miss.
No.8 WWF Smackdown ,if grappling action is what you love it is all here with the best characters and great moves one for the wrestling fans that should no be missed.
No.9 Pokemon ,All the games included here wirh red ,blue and now yellow,the craze is here and we all love it,but what it boils down to is have you got what it takes to be a pokemon master,if the answer is yes choose number 9.
N0.10 Colin Mcrae Rally 2, if you are up for a bit a tyre burning ,energy pumping rally action do not miss out on this stormer of a game,a brilliant sequel.
there you have it the list of the games of the first half of the year,if I have missed out any im sorry but there were only 10 spots but i would like to know what you think,At the end of the year then we will really have a tough competition.

Just because it was released in 1999 doesn't mean it can't win best game in 2000 so far, can it?
Anyhow, my best game released IN the year 2000 has to be, without a shadow of a doubt, Final Fantasy 8, with its unique card trading features, storyline, FMV, character development, location rendering....I could go on, but put this one down for game of the decade too while your at it, and put that in your pipe and smoke it.

Planescape torment was a great game, and obviously Diablo 2 is the best so far (by the way wasn't Planescape torment released last year?).
Anyway, i don't think i can pick the best game of 2000 yet, with Monkey Island 4, Baldur's Gate 2, Hitman: Codename 47, Warcraft3 and so on still to come i think it would be unfair (and anyway i haven't got Deus Ex yet!).

The Best Game of 2000, thats tricky. Things on the console market have been a little dry, what with the next generation consoles just around the corner. I'ld have to say either Perfect Dark on the N64, actually make that ISS Pro Evolution (Was it this year or last?). ISS is a superb football game because it actually feels and plays like the real thing.
There was a great fuss a while back over it because someone had finally managed to get a version of it into a rom. Unfortunatly it was in Japanese, and one of the eariler puzzles involved spelling.
Damn.
But then... JOY! An english version was released. (Since it wasn't released over here, what was I doing wrong?)

I played a demo of Diablo 1 ages ago and I thought it was great! (I'm a big fan of RPG's) I could have chosen that as my winning game but I thought to myself Diablo 2 has just come out and it's more expensive so I'll get that!
I'm saving my pennies for Diablo 1 though!
I have heard of Mario RPG and know it didn't come out here but I know the sequel is! Paper Mario which is Mario RPG 2! It's coming out on N64 and looks a cross between 3D and 2D mario!
