This quite surreal image is a very intriguing work which
plays on the viewer's perspective. Although it appears
to be giant, it could (and probably is) just a normal sized
apple close to Magritte's eyes. If I may refer to
Father Ted. "These are small and the ones out there are
far away. Small....far away ." This is the opposite.
I preceeded to beautifully link this work with my own.
My (sorry) attempt at drawing in the style of Magritte.
I call it "Glue Pot", 2003, pencil on paper.
The subject is a glue pot, a simple, ordinary object often
took for granted although it gives so much support to all
our work.
