"The Listening Room", 1952, oil on canvas.
This quite surreal image is a very intriguing work which
plays on the viewer's perspective. Although it appears
to be giant, it could (and probably is) just a normal sized
apple close to Magritte's eyes. If I may refer to
Father Ted. "These are small and the ones out there are
far away. Small....far away ." This is the opposite.
I preceeded to beautifully link this work with my own.
My (sorry) attempt at drawing in the style of Magritte.
I call it "Glue Pot", 2003, pencil on paper.
The subject is a glue pot, a simple, ordinary object often
took for granted although it gives so much support to all
our work.

Next you'll be saying you won the football trophy for best footballer off that bloke who used to play for Fulham.

You could draw cartoons and copy other people's cartoon characters, but you were rubbish at drawing real things.
Or the nike tick or the adidas logo.
It's the whole sinister thing.
It's so true. And the currect GSCE has practically nothing to do with actually making anything. Oh no. There is a lot of writing.
Because you thought it would be funny?
Well you were wrong.
*just had to say that*
