At the moment wretling is getting a bit dull, as everyone has noticed. The Alliance gimmick didn't come off, and the WWF has been trying to fix the mess it's made of all the belts.
What we need is for Vince or someone to invent a new type of match or make a comletely unexpected storyline. Or perhaps we need him to appoint a Commisioner to shake up the Federation. It worked with Mick why not try someone like Al. He just needs to do something and it's got to be something no one would expect.

I take it all back. Hurricane against A.J. Styles was brilliant. I never knew the Hurricane was that good. The other one wasn't bad. Best match on Metal in ages. If you haven't seen it you really should.

Heat and Metal can be much more of a high flying show and the light-heavyweights on it rule...

Heat's OK as there are sometimes good matches. One of my favourites was Benoit against Haku.

However Metal matches are just boring. The unknowns are never given a chance against the semi-superstars. At least one point in the match you'll hear "This could be a huge upset here."

Is it?

No.

Also often you get stupid comedy matches featuring Crash or Funaki. They're not funny, just a waste of a match.

In fairness the matches ar usually pure without cheating with the emphasis on actual wrestling. I watch it every week so it can't be that bad. I did used to enjoy Essa Rios' matches where he got to show off his true talents. He was every bit as good as Jeff Hardy.

Personally I actually PREFER HeAT and Metal to Raw and Smack!down. In general the lower card wrestlers are just as talented, if not more so, at actual wrestling than the upper-carders, they're only down the bottom of the card because they're not as good on the microphone. Give Me JErry Lynn vs Essa Rios over Another Rock/Stone Cold//Triple H/Kurt Angle/Y2J (delete as appropriate) encounter any day.
And another thing...when in the blue hell is Kane actually going to be given the push toward the title he deserves. In my opinion the big man has been putting on some of the best matches of his career of late.

C5 is just acceptable on terrestrial television, but if you digital TV (like myself), then you will find the picture quality perfect. The reason I dislike Heat is that the lower-key wrestlers shouldn't have to wrestle on cards that get half the ratings of any Raw or Smackdown. Heat used to have all the main-events on in 1998-99, but since then it only has jobbers in. It could have been really good, but now I find it boring to watch.

We will be seeing it soon... C5 have the rights, when they decide to show them however, is another thing.
