Konami are all hype anyways.
Konami announced a bunch of games for PS2, and a few for Gamecube.
We get a Turtles game, a street basketball game, er there's no Pro Evo for US, don't know about Europe. No mention of Goemon, certainly no MGS...
New Castlevania on GBA though...
Disappointing, unless they're going to announce more GC games at a separate time, though I wouldn't hold my breath.
Oh.. and MGS.

I guess I got over excited at the though of a new Goemon game.
DASH DASH DASH
That song ruled, shame I don't know the rest of the words.
GOEMON, GOEMON, GOEMON

It is strange, Konami were the only company to support the N64 during the 3rd party deserting times... now we see little of them.
Eclispe looks still to be released but I am shocked that the old Nintendo faves in the form of Goeman and Castlevania has yet to appear.
ISS and PRo Evo are all well and good but the PS2 has Metal Gear Solid and Silent Hill... the fact is Nintendo do have their own exclusive Konami games... Castlevania and Goeman.
And other than the GBA versions of Castlevania I have yet to see them appear on the Cube's release list.
There is a post about the Gamecube I will be writing soon about what defines a Nintendo game, why it has created a massive fan base and why it means we can easily live without GTA, GT and Metal Gear Solid... that includes Silent Hill... they are damn good games but what is more Nintendo like, the highly playable Castlevania and Goeman or ultra realistic Metal Gear Solid and Silent Hill...
I'd pick the relativly unknown Goeman and Castlevania (sorry not so unknown that one) over the system selling beauties of MGS and Silent Hill. Konami are right, they choose their games to coincide what the gamers expect on their console... Capcom's 4 original titles (be them exclusive or not) are all Nintendo esq. games... not childish but simple, highly playable and original and fun.
It is the way it is.

It'll be Pro Evo 2, unless the ISS series really takes a turn for the better.
ISS2 was poor compared to the older version of ISS, and also to both Pro Evos. A good game, but poor in comparison.
:-D
I love that little guy, his N64 game was great I remember renting it and always telling myself to buy it though I never got round to it.
Hope to see the blue haired dude in my collection soon.
