Aside from the imminent announcement due on Monday, news has leaked that the PAL Gamecube supports RGB output and the infamous 60Hz option.

Apparently, Nintendo of Europe are really pulling out all the stops to make the GameCube a success in Europe.

All I can say is, 'bout bleedin' time too.

Apologies though, can't post the link since it's prohibited, but take my word for it.

I use a scart lead with my dreamcast, my brother's PS2, N64 and even SNES!

Never used to, but it's only recently I got a TV that I could connect the leads to!

What are you people on about. The DC, PSX and N64 (from what I know), all had RGB cables that alloeed you to play games through an RGB scart tv.

I never didn't use RGB with my DC.

And Game makes a good point- 60Hz should be standard...not something to rant about. I can't believe the shoddiness of Sony's attitude towards it... even the DC had almost every game support the 60Hz option.

Oh, and Game, that's 60Hz not MHz!

The Dremacast does NOT need scart/RBY leads to use the 60htz function.

Some games don't support it altogether!

I think you can do without a cable if you have a decent TV though.

The 60Mhz 'thing' is great news, though.

It just goes to show that Nintendo are serious about doing well in Europe.

Sure we might see a few delays, but we'll still have games around to play.

I was just getting into Paper Mario when the GC launched in Japan...

I was playing Pro Evo and GTA3 when it was launched in the US... there's always an alternative game.... if you know what I mean.

I think you do.

Yes, I thought so too. The DC has to have RGB otherwise you can't do 60hz.

Anyway,I think it includes Saturn, GameCube and Xbox, seeing as those are technically released in some parts of the world.

Anyway, someone has just pointed out that it's an RGB cable IN THE BOX... which is v cool if true.
