I feel like Capcom just sat on my face and took a bit crap in my mouth. It now turns out that the Capcom 4 (killer 7, Project 03, Dead Phoenix, Viewtiful Joe) are not actually exclusive to Cube after all.

Even though they announced they where. 'apparently' there was a mix up in translation and all along they where saying that they weren't gonna be exclusive.

*cough* bollo>< *cough*

So ummm there you have it. I suppose at leas they're being developed with the Cube in mind and we won't be getting dodgy ports....but still.

*shakes fist at Capcom*

Ah no you see Capcom just said they weren't neccessarily exclusive games, they haven't been confirmed for other consoles but they may appear on them... there is nothing to stop them... nothing is making them exclusive.

Oh and Resident Evil 4 is still exclusive, and these are based around Gamecube hardware so it doesn't really matter... it isn't that we are getting another crappy PS2 port.

Be that as it may, if they do go to PS2 (along with the intriguing Project Devil), that'll be five incentives gone, for potential 'Cube owners. Nintendo really need to secure these CAPCOM games somehow. As I've said, time and time again, buying out CAPCOM would be brilliant.

Capcom are in finacial troubles. If the 5 perform well then there will be no need to port to other formats, if they sell below target and Capcom are still in trouble then ports will be on hand... so maybe the X-box will get a downgraded Dead Phonix and Killer 7 by December 2004 (in Japan) and the PS2 could get an even more downgraded P.N.03 and Viewtiful Joe by December 2004... a long while sinc the Gamecube's release.

To make more money... not it isn't 6 month exclusive... if they make it for other platforms it will simply be used to make money, it will have watered down graphics on both consoles and the controls won't be as tight.

"Well actually the English word for 'exclusive' is remarkably close to the Japanese word for 'multi-format'"

I said that exclusivity means nothing to Capcom. But it wouldn't surprise if they still ARE exclusive, as even they don't seem to know what they're doing anymore.

Over the years I've become very jaded after many bad experiences with customer services, you have bucked the trend. Polite and efficient from the Freeola team, well done to all involved.
