My winning posts have been about 1000 words long, each. Both GADs were GAD1 prizes. I have never won for reviews or cheats, but then, I only ever posted a few.

Try submitting load of cheats, they take a few days to update and see if you win...

The winners list is always a few days behind and is never updated at weekends so you'll have to wait until Monday to see the other people who have won..
