"Grand Theft Auto 3 --- Makers being fined"

I have just read in the News paper that Rockstar Games has been fined by the New York public. They say that it was made after the streets of New York and are fining Rock Star games 90,000,000 dollars. What do you think about this?

i doubt it, if they felt this strongly about a game they probably wouldnt let it be released

HAHA! This topic is a joke there is no way that Rockstar got fined that much for making a city that has simularities with NYC. I live in the U.S. and it's kinda funny that I haven't even heard anything about this.

Can't wait until State of Emergency comes out, it's going to be a competition between us all as to who can guess which city the game is based in!

Unless someone is going to tell me it's already based and modelled on a certain city, in which case I'll get me coat!

Talking about similarities....has anyone seen it at the start of metal gear solid 2 demo where it says "All character designs are tottally fictional, Any likeneses are truely coincidental" its quite funny when u think.....ha heh
