the FF series seems to be getting crapper as it go's along, at least Zelda strives to be original and different from ona game to the next.

FFX is probably the best one that I have played with 7 not far behind. But a FF game with all the past characters involved into one would be a great game.

I think that they have been gradually getting worse!

I think that lately they've been forking out far to much money on the FMV sequences then actually the game itself!

I hope that people stop buying the games if they do fall into absolute shitedom so that they would stop producing them - or at least correct the problem and start putting some effort back into 'the' game - and not all the game FMV + ad nonsense.

I also hope that they don't stop anytime soon because these are the greatest RPG's of the day.

I don't see any reason to stop them from making them. Every time they make a new one it involves different stories and characters so it's like a new game each time you play one. I would like to see one where it involved all of the characters from all of the FF series. That would be an awsome game and just think of the story line.

Also, I know what you are thinking why don't they just change the name of the game each time they make one. Well, when you have a title that sells as good as Final Fantasy why in the world would you want to change the title when you now that alot of people will buy it just because it is a part of the Final Fantasy series.

Going too far? As in what? Releasing too many?

Then, no. Seeing as the games, story line and characters are different everytime, I'd say that the only problem is with lazy titles. Perhaps they could be a bit more creative, but a title is a title - not really too important.

As long as the games keep being good I have no problem.
