well final fantasy 11 may be a good game but charging like £50 for the game and on top of that a yearly fee, and plus the cost of the internet on the ps2 is going way too far for me and my bank.

Every Final Fantasy game involves different characters, a different storyline, inovative or "original" ideas such as blitzball and a whole different approach to the genre. FFVII kicked in with the quite awesome FMVs and FFX has full 3D backgrounds, 5:1 sound, facial animation, voice acting and many more things that have never been done in the series.
Zelda strives to be different and original from one game to the next??? You mean have the same character from the dark ages and go to cel shaded "just to be different" as Miyamoto put it, awwww bless :-)
