Yep, I'm back. Don't know how I got here, I think I was looking for the latest news in the gaming world and 'accidentally' started posting in the forums again.
You know I said I was going to be very busy over Christmas with gaming? Well I still am. Legend of Mir still takes up most of my time, I've restarted Gran Turismo 3 from scratch after the incident with my cat and an 8MB PS2 memory card, and I'm still playing Final Fantasy IX.
And of course Planetarion have just started signups again for Round 6 so I've paid my £6.88 with SplashPlastic to go without sleep for another 6 months. Great.
Http://www.planetarion.com if you want to help keep me awake during the early morning ticks. There's free signups coming along in a few days time if you want to be restricted to a 3,000,000 score like Sniper was in Round 4 (:P).
I'll make an effort to pop back now and again in between each tick of the Planetarion Universe, but I know, it's a lame excuse and I'm already starting to sound like PB so I'll shurrup.

Heh, I think that was before I had your MSN, so I missed out on the "Wrath of Grix".
It works out a LOT cheaper if one of us buys all the accounts though, rather than us all buying separately.(assuming we're allowed to do that).

PA is good fun. It's exciting.

I think they started taking free signups already, at least the main site is down today so they're tweaking 'something'. (Or maybe it's just down, no change there then...).
Free signups have the following restriction: Once your score hits 3 million you have to pay. (£6.88 is a lot for a student I know, I mean, that's 4 or 5 beers you're missing out on...).
You'll get put in a random galaxy.
This round it's Clusters not Parallels.
This round you can choose from 1 of 4 races, essentially the races are:
Terran (High firepower)
Xandathrii (Cloaked)
Zikonian (Thief)
Cathaar (EMP)
Everyone seems to be going EMP as one of their ships, the 'Roach', is currently WAY overpowered.
Having said that Spinner says he's still reviewing the ship stats and they've yet to be finalised. Which means they'll probably change halfway through the round. Then change back again when Fury or Legion complain about the first change.
