I screamed in annoyance, and smashed the keyboard several times.
Unfortunately, I found out later from by brother that the spacebar was broken, and you had to press it on the left hand side to get it to work. My father, who uses this PC quite a lot (ie. when I'm not on it) heard about this but did not survey the damage. He gave me a stern telling off, and said for my sake he hopes it wasn't too bad.
So I went to my Cell Group, came back just a few minutes ago and found myself typing with only the occasional space between words. This was unfortunate.
So, in a desperate attempt I pressed down onto the working side, and to my surprise heard a loud 'click.' Now, I'd either broken the spacebar completely, or fixed it.
I slowly pushed my finger down onto the supposedly broken side...and it worked!! It works fine!!
It may not be an amazing feat for some of you, but it is for me. Hell, I struggle to open lollipops, so what do you expect?
